Corrected typescript of paper delivered at the historical conference of the San Diego County Historical Societies, Mar. 6, 1969. His case against the authenticity of a document pruportedly by Antonio María Bucareli y Ursúa to Father Junipero Serra, Dec. 17, 1773, concerning granting to Mission San Diego and the presidio rights to the water of the San Diego River (This document is in C-C4-5, q.v.).
